1. Protocol for Worship: We will continue to worship together in person for the immediate future. Masks are recommended but not required. Social Distancing is recommended. It is also recommended that all singers should have masks on while singing.

Our Fellowship Time is still at 8:15 with coffee and prepackaged drinks and pastries only.

2. Our Sunday School Class led by Rev. Gary Lee, in the Fellowship Hall will continue with our study in the Book of Revelation. Today we look at the final verses of chapter one and the beginning of chapter two. This verse-by-verse conversational study is inspiring us and helping us all learn the significance of this great Book of God’s Word.

3. Our Charge Conference is scheduled for October 19 at 6:00 here at SUMC. This will be a “Cluster Conference” with our church and four other churches. Two will meet at 6:00, then all five will join in for a worship service, then the final three will meet.

4. Sunday, September 12, Buddy McNabb, Brother Thad’s 90 year old friend from Waverly will be with us to share his testimony of faith in Christ. Buddy said, “The recent flood has significantly impacted my testimony and will be a part of it from now on.”
